BagAid™ Straight Talk
BagAid™ is a term coined by TMI to describe precut and kitted process materials to improve efficiency and lower vacuum bagging costs on our customers’ manufacturing floor. Customer specified process materials such as vacuum bagging film, breather/bleeder and release film are cut to an in-process product configuration and packaged in kit form to be put in place on the uncured part by the operator. Other process materials such as pressure sensitive and sealant tapes are also included as specified by the customer. The BagAid™ approach is particularly applicable to parts fabricated in production quantities.
