ROHACELL Structural Foam Core

ROHACELL is a polymethacrylimide (PMI) rigid closed cell foam used for lightweight sandwich construction. The natural color of ROHACELL is white. It has excellent mechanical properties, high dimensional stability under heat, good solvent resistance and outstanding creep compression resistance. The mechanical properties are presently not exceeded by any foam product having comparable density. ROHACELL, which is thermo formable, is furnished only in sheet form.

ROHACELL® IG = Industrial Grade; for model making, ships, sporting goods, x-ray, processing up to 266ºF

ROHACELL® A = Aircraft; for aircraft and other structures, processing up to 266ºF

ROHACELL® HF = High Frequency; for antenna, radome and x-ray application, processing up to 266ºF

ROHACELL® S = Self Extinguishing; for railway, ship, bus, tram structures, processing up to 266ºF

ROHACELL® P = Compressed; for recreations applications like skis, hockey, and marine, processing up to 266ºF

ROHACELL® WF = Aerospace; for aircraft and other high-performance structures, processing up to 356ºF

ROHACELL® RIST = Resin Infusion (Structural); for use in VARTM, RTM and other resin infusion methods, processing up to 356ºF

ROHACELL® RIMA = Resin Infusion (Manufacturing/Mandrel/Tooling); for use in VARTM, RTM and other resin infusion methods where little surface resin uptake is desired, processing up to 356ºF

ROHACELL® EC = Electrically Conductive; for use in radar absorbing and electrically conductive applications, processing up to 356ºF

ROHACELL® XT = Extended Temperature; for structures manufactured using BMI resins, stable up to 450ºF
